It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of head judo instructor and co-owner of Camal Cruz Judo/Jiu-Jitsu, Sensei Anthony Camal. The only thing greater than his passion for judo was the kindness in his heart. He dedicated his life to helping others through his career in firefighting and teaching what he loved. He is survived by his beautiful family - his wife Liz, and daughters Kayla and Jaclyn. But he is also survived by his legacy, which will live on forever through his students and the countless lives he touched. He was a true champion in judo and in life.
The dojo will never be the same without Sensei, but the dojo will always be here because of Sensei.
