Extremely friendly environment in a clean and competitive atmosphere.
Great school with an amazing staff. Our son started a few months ago and was very hyperactive and easily distracted. Sensei Camal and Sensei Cruz take their time with the students, patiently teaching them discipline and respect. They have older kids and senior members that help with the toddlers as part of their own personal development. Our son has grown tremendously and loves coming here! Highly recommend!
We brought our daughter to camal judo when she was 4 years old and she has learned so much from Sensi Camal in these past 3 years, she just started jiu jitsu a Few weeks ago with Sensi Cruz and it has helped her improve a lot both Sensis have so much love and patience to teach the kids and experience. Sensi Camal goes the extra mile for the kids and he teaches values and respect that is rare to see anymore.
Best Judo classes in New Jersey. I highly recommend them. Brought my 4 year old daughter & 6 year old son. In just 3 weeks I have seen a huge improvement. They also train Adults which is also a highly recommended place to start or even if you are advance. The Sensi & Owner Anthony is a phenomenal instructor. Has alot of experience, patients and great communication skills.
I've been in martial arts for 34 yrs in the US and internationally. I find Camal Judo to be an energizing dojo from walking in with a warm friendly greeting at the office to a great compassionate coach with Sensei Camal. High level learning in a comfortable environment.
Sensei Camal is technical, goes over a throw during class. Then he will show a move on the mat to use for ground fighting. Saturday Sensei Camal will show self defense just incase something happens in the street.
I have been a student at Camal Judo for years and sensai Camal has given the training to become a national champion. I love coming to Camal Judo because it gives me the skill discipline to become a better person in the dojo and outside of the dojo
