Luis Bastidas
Luis Bastidas is a dedicated Brazilian jiujitsu black belt instructor with over 12 years of experience in the art. He began his martial arts journey at AMA in Whippany, NJ, training under Jaime Cruz, a third-degree Renzo Gracie black belt. Alongside his jiujitsu expertise, he also holds a yellow belt in Judo, earned under the late Tony Camal.
Throughout his manufacturing IT career Luis has traveled extensively, allowing him to train at various jiujitsu schools in Ireland, Puerto Rico, Indiana, Florida and in the northeast. His diverse experiences have enriched his teaching, which he now shares in nogi jiujitsu classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
