Dan Rothman

Dan Rothman is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu with over 26 years of experience, including 15 years as an instructor. He began training in 1998 with a BJJ club at Cornell University and at Renzo Gracie NYC during school breaks. He continued his training after college, ultimately receiving his black belt from Renzo Gracie Black Belts Alan Teo and Jamal Paterson in 2009. Dan takes an innovative, systematic approach to instruction, blending classic self-defense with modern sport jiu-jitsu.
